Weld Stud

Weld Stud

Introduction

A weld stud is a type of fastener that is designed to be welded onto a workpiece. It is typically made of steel or another metal, and has a small, cylindrical head with a threaded shaft extending from it. Weld studs are used in a variety of applications, including automotive manufacturing, construction, and appliance production. They are commonly used to attach components to a metal surface, and can be welded in place using a variety of welding processes such as shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), and tungsten inert gas welding (TIG). Weld studs offer several advantages over other types of fasteners, including high strength, corrosion resistance, and the ability to withstand high temperatures.
